Atlanta Medical Center Uses Face-to-Face Recording

Atlanta Medical Center is using face-to-face recording through Trace for patient interviews in registration and outpatient admission areas. Conversations are recorded through a desktop microphone connected to the registrar’s PC. Staff collects data elements necessary for registration and discusses the patient’s financial liability and benefits, then indexes the recording to the patient’s account number through Trace. Hartford HealthCare Uses Trace for Central Scheduling,
Customer Service Improvement
| Hartford HealthCare (HHC) has implemented Trace as part of a larger effort to centralize scheduling and provide a more efficient, patient-friendly experience for customers. Trace is providing denial support for authorizations, while also tracking operational activities in HHC’s revenue cycle call centers. By tracking these activities, HHC plans to achieve an increase in point of service collections, a reduction in avoidable write-offs and an increase in patient satisfaction scores.
